Minutes of committee meeting 7-3-18

Transporters

The chairman said that trucks were put in for sand blasting and painting

It was questioned why we need to spend money on transporters again this year 

It was agreed that to be able to claim the deduction in old age pensioners rate members must be 10 years a members of the ISRF and 65 years of age.

Crates with old floors

Text the clubs to check their crates and any one that need repair to inform Sheppie.

St Malo

It was pointed out that the NIPA were starting on the second Saturday of April every year and they had to adjust the dates of the 2018 races to accommodate that date.

The ISRF races did not match the St Malo race and a change was need with the ISRF race program.

The sectary gave the committee a copy of two options.

The chairman suggested that we have two open on the same week end Barley cove and St Malo.

A discussion took place regarding the different options and it was decided to go for option 2 to switch the Barleycove Open with St Malo and Skibbereen.

OPEN RACES

A discussion took place regarding the open races.

It was agreed the committee would check the opens Races a week Late with In the Seven days.

 

Raptures

The article in the Jan Irish times 2018 was discussed.

It had pointed out that there were at least 400 pairs of Peregrine in Ireland.

The number of sparrow hawks was unknown.

ISRF  Presentation

A discussion took place regarding the yearly Presentation.
